NLMK reports decrease in net profit

The net profit of Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) under US GAAP dropped 16 percent to $456.6m in the first quarter of 2007 compared to the same, the company's official documents state according to RBC. Revenue surged 61 percent to $1.750bn. EBITDA soared 98 percent to $748.1m and EBITDA margin went up from 36 percent to 43 percent. Gross profit increased by 87 percent to $817.4m. Operating profit added 70 percent to $640.1m.
