Vinashin Ocean Shipping Company, a member of the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin), has launched a new feeder service between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh using one vessel, the 1,113-TEU Vinashin Pacific that provides a seven-day turnaround and transshipment connections from Singapore.
Vinashin has also been granted a Document of Compliance (DOC), Safety Management Certificates (SMC) in accordance with the International, Safety Management Code and international ship security certificate. This means its vessels were found to be operating by international code (ISPS Code) standards in regard to safety at sea and in port.
Vinashin Ocean Shipping Company was established in 2000 to provide a range of services, including the provision of multi-modal cargo transportation, ship repair, cargo ships for rent, ship brokerage, crew training, provision of marine spare parts and mechanical equipment to the shipping industry, crude oil transportation and tug boat services.
