Shenzhen's electrical appliances retailer MKD has unveiled plans to invest CNY470 million (US$62.05 million) to establish a 300,000-square metre logistics park in Shenzhen, Logistics Week reports.
The MKD Logistics Park will serve as an electrical appliances distribution centre that will integrate electric appliances storage, logistics, wholesale and retail activities.
MKD plans to make it an electrical appliances trading centre, offering extensive types and brands and direct sales from manufacturers.
It is anticipated that the facility will control more than 50 per cent of the market share in the Shenzhen electrical appliances trading market, the report said.
