In January-July 2007 volume of transportation grew by 54%, year-on-year, at Trans-Siberian railway, RZD-Partner reports with reference to secretariat international association “Coordination Council on Trans-Siberian Transportations”. In the reported period the railway transported 328,031 containers.
Export transportation grew by 66%, year-on-year (+164,071 containers), import – by 58% (+164,071 containers). Transit to European countries fell by 57.3%, year-on-year (1,970 containers).
