Stena Line has ordered two ro-pax vessels from Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea in a close to SEK 2 billion (EUR 214 million) deal. The vessels will be sister ships to the 3,100 lane-metre Stena Trader and Stena Traveller, recently delivered by Fosen Mek Verksteder in Norway. The now ordered ro-paxes will be delivered in 2011 for the Rotterdam–Harwich service. During recent years, Stena Line has invested SEK 7 billion (EUR 750 million) in new vessels and has decided to invest a further SEK 6 billion (EUR 640 million).
