Over the January to July period this year the cumulative foreign trade value of China's hinterland province of Shanxi surged 84.08 per cent to US$6.19 billion, making it the fastest-growing province in the country in terms of foreign trade.
According to a Logistics Week report, the central mainland province's export value increased 65.46 per cent to $3.51 billion, while its import value soared 115.9 per cent to $2.67 billion.
