FPSO Agbami at DSME's yard SOUTH KOREA: Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. (DSME), the world's third-largest shipbuilder, said soaring demand lifted its net income for July to US$40 million, up from a loss of US$21.8 million a year ago, media reports said quoting a regulatory filing. Sales rose 45 percent to US$621.8 million. DSME now is mulling an expansion of its shipbuilding capacity, including the addition of a fourth floating dock and extension of the length of an existing yard in Okpo, South Korea, in a bid to increase annual sales by about US$1 billion.
