Sinotrans, China's largest logistics company, and US logistics company National Retail Systems have formed a joint venture, SinoNRS, to offer integrated factory-to-store logistics solutions to US retailers. The JV will operate as an exclusive partnership between Sinotrans and NRS for US import retail logistics will offer US retailers a comprehensive suite of transportation, consolidation, warehousing, distribution, trade facilitation and value-added services, such as ticketing, labelling and packaging.
"Already a leading integrated logistics player in China, Sinotrans has started to expand our services overseas in the past few years. Because the United States and Europe are such important trading partners with China, we must seek business partners in these regions that fit our strategic choices for business development," said Zhang Jianwei, president of Sinotrans.
