Cosco Corp (Singapore) said on Wednesday its 51 percent owned unit Cosco Shipyard Group will build a new yard in China that will focus on rigs and other oil and gas-related vessels.
Work on the yard in Jiangsu Province near the entrance of the Yangtze River will begin immediately with the first phase expected to be completed in about a year, Cosco said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange.
