Port of Qingdao lifted a total of 9.4 million tons of TEU in 2007, Logistics Week reported. Overall tonnage of the port rose 18.2 per cent to 265 million tons.
In 2008, the port is aiming to raise its container throughput to 10 million TEU with an overall cargo tonnage volume of 300 million tons to realise revenues of CNY10 billion (US$1.4 billion).
