Federal resources are to be spent also to solve the problem of motor transport congestion at Torfyanovka border-crossing point. The approach ways are to be reconstructed there with expansion of the road at the crossing point and construction of a parking ground for 400 trucks. There will be four new lanes for trucks built there. The works are valued at RUR 960 million.

There is another priority- construction of the first category highway to the port of Ust-Luga. The feasibility study has been completed by the regional government already and the documentation is being furnished to Sevzapupravtodor for project development and further transfer to the federal level.
