"Murmansk sea trading port" increased turnover of goods in January-February

The Open Society "Murmansk sea trading port" (MSTP) in February, 2008 increased the turnover of goods up 22% to 1.106mln ton of cargoes in comparison with the parameter for the similar period of 2007. It is spoken about in the report of the port.
It has been processed 34.995ths cars and 81 vessels by the port.
In February, 2008 MSTP increased the turnover of goods up 22% to 1.106mln ton of cargoes. Including the volume of export cargoes increased up 20.8% to 1.06mln ton, including coal - 853.2ths ton, apatite - 123.8ths ton, nonferrous metals - 22.1ths ton.
MSTP processed 16.204ths cars, including with coal - 12.168ths cars, of vessels - 41.
Processing of general cargoes increased up 33.8% to 69.1ths ton, of bulk - up 21.2% to 1.04mln ton.
The Open Society "Murmansk sea trading port", created in 1994, is the second-largest port (after St.-Petersburg) of the northwest part of Russia.
The authorized capital of the port makes 227.37mln rbl. The basic shareholders are: Rosimushchestvo (25.5 %), the Closed Joint-Stock Company "ING Bank (Eurasia)", the company Laterium Commercial Ltd. (12.68 %), Diamat Trading Commercial Ltd. (12.48 %), the Russian Federal Property Fund (0.0033 %).
The net profit of MSTP under RFAS in 2006 made 238.1mln rbl., that is 23.7 % less, than in 2005 - 312mln rbl. The proceeds decreased down 2.1 % to 1.56mlrd rbl. from 1.59mlrd rbl.
