In February 2008, Russian Railways increased loading by 7.5%, year-on-year, RZD President Vladimir Yakunin told today at a meeting, the company’s press center reports. In terms of average daily handling the growth totaled3,8%.
According to Vladimir Yakunin, average daily loading of coal grew by 6.95%, year-on-year, construction materials – by 13%, containerized cargo – by 11%.
In February, the fleet of wagons accepted by First Cargo Company totaled 30,000 units. As of today, the company’s share in total loading of Russian Railways achieved 1.5%, Yakunin told.
