Earnings before interest, tax and amortisation stood at 203 million euros on sales of 8.328 billion for a margin of 7.2 percent, it said in a statement.
The state-controlled shipyard did not provide comparable figures for 2006, saying a reorganisation of its capital and structure had made comparisons impossible.
It reported cashflow of 981 million euros and said it had 8.328 billion euros of orders on its books. Thales took a 25 percent stake in DCN last year and the shipyard was subsequently renamed DCNS.
DCNS builds frigates and submarines for the French armed forces and for export and is working with Britain on a proposal to combine the two nations' aircraft carrier replacement plans.
Thales is due to report 2007 earnings on Friday.
