AP Moller-Maersk North Sea oil production down in Feb from Jan
Denmark''s A.P. Moller-Maersk said oil production at its partly-owned Dansk Undergrunds Consortium (DUC)''s oilfields in the North Sea was 251,100 barrels per day in February, down from 263,200 a month earlier. Oil production fell 6.4 pct in February from the same month last year, the group added in a statement.
Production of gas for export reached 770 mln cubic metres in February, down 7.2 pct from January''s 830 mln cubic metres and 1.3 pct down year-on-year.
AP Moller-Maersk owns 39 pct of DUC, while Royal Dutch Shell and Chevron hold 46 pct and 15 pct of the consortium respectively.
