Philippines to spend US$283.7 million for container terminals in nine countries
International Container Terminal Services in the Philippines has announced a forward expenditure of US$283.7 million for container terminals in nine countries.
The proposal will expand domestic and foreign port container movement with the money coming from internally generated funds.
Major cargo handling equipment will be accessed for the ports of the Philippines, Poland, Brazil, Madagascar, Ecuador, China, Syria, Georgia and Colombia.
A lot of the terminal work will involve extensive land reclamation, dredging of new berths and dredging of new wharfs.
