The State Duma of the Russian Federation ratified the Agreement between the Russian Federation and Kingdom Norway about differentiation of sea spaces in area of Varanger Fiord on Friday, PRIME-TASS reports.
Russia and Norway negotiate on carrying out differentiating line in Barents sea for more than thirty years. The previous agreement about Varanger Fiord was signed in 1957 and it was about its internal a fiord. The newagreement differentiates sea spaces of an external part of the gulf.
