In 2007, export via the ports of Ukraine grew by 50.9%, year-on-year, import- by 20.7% in monetary value, RZD-Partner reports. According to analytical data of Ukraine’s State Statistics Committee, import accounted for 88.7% ($323.5 million) of total balance. Import- only 11.3% ($41.5 million). In 2006, it was 90.8% against 9.2%, in 2005 - 93% against 7%, in 2004 - 94% against 6%. In 2006 export grew by 63.9%, import – by 25.7%.
In general, ports accounted for 0.08% of Ukrainian export and 0.53% of import. In 2006 - 0.04% and 0.49% respectively.
