Rosneft earlier said it would develop its bunkering business in the ports of Primorie and Khabarovsk territories, at Sakhalin, in the Black, White and Barents Seas providing shipments to fishing companies and at inland waterways. The Company’s near term plans envisage to start bunkering operations in Tuapse, Syzran, Rostov. Later on Rosneft plans to expand the service range of its sea terminals to accommodate modern bunkering centers. The Company’s refineries have plans to start producing several types of marine fuels (including marine oils) of the highest international quality standards. By implementing this program by 2020 the Company intends to bring its sales of bunker oil products (fuel oil, marine fuel and oils) to 10 million tons a year. The company also said it had purchased 15% of Managing Company “Murmansk Transport Hub” OJSC.
