SEKO expands in Dubai

SEKO has expanded its Dubai operations into a new facility located close to the Dubai/Abu Dhabi Airport and the Jebel Ali Seaport.
The new facility serves all major trade lanes through the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), which comprises Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as trade lanes throughout other developing markets with significant imports from the major ports throughout Asia.
Dubai and the UAE are among the fastest growing logistics centres in the world, with infrastructure investments such as the new international airport, further development of the Jebel Ali port and the new Khalifa port in Abu Dhabi.
The SEKO Dubai office serves both import and export trade, providing customs brokerage services and warehouse management services, and covers air, ocean and ground operations throughout the UAE. It also serves as a major transhipment and distribution hub for the area, with multimodal transportation throughout the entire UAE and the Middle East.
SEKO’s new Dubai office is working in conjunction with a Dubai-based strategic partner, Center Point Logistics and the locally owned Saleh Saeed Lootah Holdings. Center Point Logistics is currently constructing a 100,000 m2 warehousing facility that will significantly contribute to SEKO’s network capability and service offerings in Dubai.
Negotiations are also underway to enable the office to secure additional premises throughout all major logistics hubs in the UAE and the Middle East in the future.
