The service rotation will be: Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo (Uruguay), Rio Grande (Brazil), Santos (Brazil), Sepetiba (Brazil), Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Tilbury (UK), Hamburg (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium), Le Havre (France), Sepetiba (Brazil), and Santos (Brazil).
"The first vessel on the River Plate Express service will be the Monte Cervantes departing Rotterdam June 20. It will also be first northbound ship from Buenos Aires sailing July 12," said Maersk.
The line also announced that as a result of the upcoming changes, the line's Itajai Express service would be terminated. "Consequently, all cargo from Brazil to the Mediterranean will in future be loaded on our L-class and SAMEX services via Tangiers."
The last sailing south bound on that service would be the Maersk Jamestown, departing Algeciras June 20, then to be the last northbound ship, departing Rio July 6.
