Head of security group of RosMorPort’s Taganrog branch dismissed upon prosecutor’s recommendation

Transport prosecutor’s office of Taganrog has inspected execution of laws on maritime and navigation safety of Taganrog branch of RosMorPort FSUE. According to the inspection, port vessels as well as auxiliary fleet and icebreakers under economic control of the Taganrog branch of RosMorPort FSUE do not have any permanent berth being located within the water area of the seaport complex. The above vessels are moored at pawls inappropriate for such purposes. The Captain Demidov and the Captain Moshkin icebreakers are located outside the protected area of seaport of Taganrog. The staff of the maritime security group is not big enough to protect the water area of seaport Taganrog.

Thus, the inspection proved that the measures undertaken by the officials of Taganrog branch of RosMorPort FSUE to protect the water area of seaport Taganrog are obviously not sufficient and do not meet the legislation requirements.
