In 2008, Commercial Seaport of Taganrog (TNTP OJSC) plans to invest RUR 1.5 mln into equipment of its port fleet with Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, the company informs. Within the framework of a program for the port’s technical upgrading and development in 2008, TNTP plans to invest RUR 2.7 million into expansion of bulk cargo storage facilities, which is to raise the port’s storage capacity by 20-35%.
The port’s total investment into upgrading and development is to make some RUR 80 million in 2008 including RUR 6.6 million to be spent for modernization of port fleet as well as small-size and large-size chanical appliances.
