The volume of purchasing of a ship fuel by Novoship has amounted to 46.67 thousand tons for 2005

The volume of purchases of ship fuel by the Open Company Novorossisk sea shipping company (Novoship) doubled in 2005 in comparison with 2004 to 46.67 thousand tons. As a correspondent of the PortNEws Information Agency reports, this was stated by Head of Commercial Operation Department of the Novoship’s fleet at the Trade and Bunkering in the Southern Region conference, held in Sochi. Growth of the Novoship’s fleet and new routes for the area of navigation explain the growth of volumes of purchased bunker fuel. According to Konstantin Talalaev, the volume of purchases of fuel oil for vessels of shipping company has amounted to 38.550 thousand tons (against 19.752 thousand tons for 2004), and as for diesel fuel, it made up 8.12 thousand tons (3.476 thousand tons) for the reporting period
Shipping companies use DMA diesel fuel and RMG-380, RME-180 heavy fuels for bunkering of the vessels. Novoship Group of companies owns 55 vessels (mainly tankers) with the total deadweight of 3.2 million tons
