One more refinery to be built in Tatarstan

The third refinery of Tatarstan is to be built in Kamskiye Polyany, Shafagat Takhautdinov, Director General of Tatneft said at press conference for federal, republic and local media, REGNUM-VolgaInfor reports. According to Takhautdinov, the issue of the third refinery is under discussion today. The plant is to refine 5 million tons of oil. The idea is supported by the republic administration since project implementation may improve employment situation in Kamskiye Polyany. The village is located close to navigable river and has necessary infrastructure which was developed parallel to construction of Tatar NPS.
