New container service Trans Baltica Lines launched to the Big Port od St.-Petersburg
New container service Trans Baltica Lines was launched to the Big Port of St.-Petersburg with a call to Petrolesport terminal (a part of Global Ports holding owned by N-Trans). As PortNews IAA learnt from N-Trans, the first call within the service provided took place on October 17, 2009.
Petrolesport OJSC is a stevedoring company of the Big Port of St. Petersburg. The main part of the cargo handled by the company fall onto refrigerated and containerized cargo, ferry cargoes, timber ones, non-containerized cargoes. The company’s net profit amounted to RUR2 billion 601 million 558 thousand under Russian Accounting Standards, profit - RUR5 billion 428 million 824 thousand in 2008.
