Xiamen Port throughput reaches 101 million tonnes by November 30

Xiamen Port Authority said that up till November 30, 2009, port cargo throughput reached 101 million tonnes, hitting the target set for the 11th Five-year Plan a year early, Netrak reported.
Xiamen Port Authority estimated the annual cargo throughput to reach 110 million tonnes by year-end.
International players such as China Shipping Container Lines, Mediterranean Shipping, North Europe and Asia shipping, and Matson have been gradually adjusting route focus on international transit operations at Xiamen port.
