ASCP’s cargo throughput up 27% to 1,7m tons
Freight flows handled by JSC Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port (ASCP) in 2010 increased by 27% year-on-year to 1,705,100 tons, the stevedoring company’s press release said.
During the reporting period ASCP handled 67,700 tons of nonmarine cargoes (-8.8% compared with 2009). Exports volume handled by the stevedore surged by 55.7% to 574,600 tons, imports jumped by 39% to 523,900 tons, short sea trade volume slightly rose, by 0.2% to 538,900 tons.
