The volume of diesel fuel produced in Russia from February 28 through March 6, 2011 increased by 3.2% from a week earlier, reaching 1,443,000 tons, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
During the reporting period diesel fuel volume produced in Moscow rose by 2%, by 5.9% - in Bashkortostan, by 5.3% - in the Yaroslavl region, by 2.4% - in the Saratov Region.
Meanwhile, there was a 13.1-percent decline in the diesel fuel volume in the Samara region, in the Leningrad region the fuel volume dropped by 9.7%, in Tatarstan – by 9%, in the Volgograd region – by 17,2%.
