Andrew Lavrishchev takes over as Rosmorport’s General Director
Andrew Lavrishchev, Rosmorport’s CEO has been appointed Acting General Director of the state-run enterprise, effective from 1 June 2010, PortNews reported citing the Rosmorport’s press office. Former head of the company Igor Rusu resigned at his own request.
Andrew Lavrishchev, 52, graduated from the Military Academy as military engineer of electronic equipment majoring in “controls of physical and power processes”. He also graduated from Moscow State University majoring in applied mathematics.
From July 2004 to February 2006 he served as Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy for Rail, Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Federation. From February 2006 to September 2010 he held office of Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy for Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Federation. In September 2010 Mr. Lavrishchev was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Rosmorport.

In September 2010 Mr. Lavrishchev was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Rosmorport.
