Captains and owners of the Pinch-20 and the Dalmorye (flag of Cambodia) were fined more than RUB 5.2 million for violating the rules of seafood extraction, the press service of the regional Sakhalin Border Control Coast Guard said.
According to the court rulings, which has come into force recently, two shipowners, Cargo Shipping Compani Ltd and Marine Services V & A Pte Ltd, were fined RUB 700,000 and RUB 2,7 million, respectively. The masters will pay the total of 1.8 million rubles.
The ships were detained in May 2010 for illegal fishing.
