Siem Meling Offshore DA has entered into a time-charter agreement with Statoil Petroleum AS for the large-size PSV ‘Siem Sailor’, the Company's press release said.
The term of the contract is 2 years with 2 yearly options. The contract shall commence during January – March 2012. The contract is done at market conditions.
The ‘Siem Sailor’ is owned by the subsidiary Siem Meling Offshore DA, in which Siem Offshore has 51% ownership.
Siem Offshore Inc. is an owner and operator of modern support vessels for the global oil and gas service industry. The Company has a fleet of 45 vessels (7 under construction): large anchor handling tug supply vessels, platform supply vessels, and other support vessels.
