DHL Supply Chain has been awarded a three year contract worth £500,000 with dancewear wholesaler Bloch.
The agreement brings DHL's Supply Chain division into a relationship that has existed between Bloch and DHL Express since November 2009.
DHL Supply Chain's Fashion division will fulfil Bloch's warehousing operation, while DHL Express will continue to distribute to stores in the UK and Europe.
Bloch recent growth and expansion plans have necessitated a move away from its in-house logistics operation to a DHL Supply Chain site located at Radlett in Hertfordshire.
DHL's Express and Supply Chain divisions will work together to shorten communication channels, resulting in faster issues resolution, improved service levels and greater product availability for Bloch's own customers.
