Murmansk Shipping eyes acquisition of a 35,000dwt bulker
JSC Murmansk Shipping Company (MSCO) plans to purchase a bulk cargo carrier with deadweight of up to 35,000 tons, the company’s press office said.
On Wednesday, June 29, MSCO’s Board at a regular meeting reviewed a number of issues related to the company’s fleet upgrade program and streamlining of non-core assets. No details were disclosed.
JSC Murmansk Shipping Company (MSCO) is an integrated corporate structure, which comprises the fleet of three Russian operators: JSC Murmansk Shipping Company, JSC Northern Shipping Company, JSC Northern River Shipping Company with a total deadweight of about 1.2 million tons. The share of the Russian Federation in the authorized capital of MSCO is 25.5%.
