Transas Marine wins ECDIS retrofit order for BSM fleet

Telaccount Overseas has chosen Transas Marine as a partner for the Bernard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) ECDIS retrofit program.

Transas Admiralty Data Service (TADS) will be supplied to part of the BSM fleet, to be accessed using the Navi-Sailor ECDIS 4000 Multifunction Display system.

Transas will also provide crew training and service support, while BSM intends to convert its own training centre into a Transas GET-Net partner (Transas Global ECDIS Training Network).

Transas Marine will also supply additional options within its service to BSM vessels, including the recently launched Transas Bridge Link (firewall system) and Admiralty Information Overlay with T&P Notices.

BSM currently boasts a portfolio of 320 vessels under technical management and 300 under crewing management.
