Petroleum product exports via the terminal of Rosneftbunker based at the port of Ust-Luga since its launch on July 1 have reached 1,967,000 tons, Ust-Luga Company told PortNews.
The oil terminal of Rosneftbunker started operating in test mode on January 31, 2011. The first 47,125dwt tanker took on board 44,000 tons of fuel oil.
Rosneftbunker, which is building the liquid bulk terminal at the port of Ust-Luga, is a business unit of oil trader Gunvor.
Upon completion the terminal will be able to handle annually 30 million tons of oil products. The project worth RUB 26bn is implemented with the assistance of a $200m loan from Vnesheconombank. Rosneftbunker expects oil product exports through the terminal to reach 10,11 million tons this year.
