The Tamil Nadu government would soon bring out a Vision Document 2025 to promote investments in the infrastructure sector, the Chief Minister, Ms J. Jayalalithaa, said recently.
Addressing the heads of industry at the National Council Meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here, Ms Jayalalithaa averred that the state government would focus on infrastructure issues, especially power, on a war-footing.
On the proposed Vision Document 2025, she said it would contain clear-cut policies for encouraging investments in infrastructure such as ports, shipbuilding, power and more.
Affirming that special emphasis would be put on renewable energies like solar power, the CM said the state government would play the part of a catalyst in fulfilling the industry’s dreams. "This is a state that delivers and we need active partners who can see growth both in the old and the new economy and participate in the generation and propagation of wealth," she stressed.
