Sembcorp Marine's subsidiary has clinched a S$600m ($493m) contract to build an integrated processing and living quarters platform for PTTEP International. The subsidiary SMOE will build a platform featuring 15,000 metric tonnes topside integrated with a 128 men living quarters module, jacket piles of about 20,000 metric tonnes and a 100-metre flare room. Construction is expected to commence in October 2011 with offshore completion scheduled in November 2013. “As one of our most valued repeat clients, PTTEPI is assured of our commitment in the timely delivery of a quality product,” said Ho Nee Sin, managing director of SMOE.
