TS Lines and Hainan Pan Ocean Shipping end their joint TP1 service

Hong Kong's TS Lines (TSL) and Hainan Pan Ocean Shipping (POS) will end their joint TP1 service calling at Ningbo, Shanghai, Long Beach and Ningbo, reports Alphaliner.
The loop was launched in May 2011 as part of a revamp to offer thrice weekly services. The TP-1 deployed 3,000-TEU class ships, with four ships expected to leave service by next week.
POS and TSL will now change to a two-loop transpacific pattern with the TP-2, calling at Xiamen, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Shanghai, Long Beach, Oakland, Busan and back to Xiamen using five ships in the 3,500 TEU range.
