Sino-Global enters into strategic agreement with COSCO

Sino-China has reached a strategic cooperation agreement with COSCO Container Shipping Agency that will allow both parties to integrate their resources and develop their businesses, Eyefortransport reports.

Sino-China is an affiliate of Sino-Global Shipping America; COSCO Container Shipping Agency is a fully owned subsidiary of COSCO Container Lines.

With local branches in most of China's main ports and contractual arrangements in all those where it does not have branch offices, Sino-Global plans to expand its local agency services through the network of COSCO Container Shipping Agency, which has more than fifty offices in coastal cities throughout China, including Guangzhou, Dalian, Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Ningbo.

According to Sino-Global CEO Cao Lei, the relationship with COSCO Container Shipping Agency will not only fulfil Sino-Global's IPO commitment on expanding its footprint throughout China, but will also enhance its marketing effort in generating incremental revenues for both companies.

Sino-Global also has subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Perth, Australia.
