MSC to rise India-South Africa rates

Mediterranean Shipping Company will apply a general rate increase on the trade from India to South Africa as part of what it calls a new “rate restoration initiative.”, Journal of Commerce reports. Effective Aug. 15, the planned increase will be $250 per 20-foot equivalent unit.
