The Russian Federal Tariff Service approved pilotage charges rate for state-owned Rosmorport at the southern Russian port of Tuapse, RTS said. Earlier, the RTS has approved the rates for service provided by two private pilots companies, Tuapse Pilotage Service LLC and Maritime Pilots of Tuapse LLC.
The updated pilotage charges come into effect in the prescribed manner, the tariffs service said.
Port of Tuapse is located on the Black Sea’s North-East, Tuapse Bay, Krasnodar Territory. The Tuapse harborage is separated from seaway by the South pier, southwestern and western breakwaters. Tuapse ranks second, next to Novorossiysk, major port that enables exports of Russian petroleum products. In 2010, the port handled 18.61 million tons of cargoes.
