Transas to equip BSM's vessels with ECDIS

Russian Transas Group has secured an order from Berhnard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) to refit the shipping company’s fleet with electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS), Transas said.

According to the agreement Transas will supply the systems with multi-function display, Navi-Sailor ECDIS 4000.

The systems are equipped with many additional features, such as Transas Bridge Link, also known as the TFAP and Admiralty Information Overlay.

The company will also supply Transas Admiralty Data Service (TADS), an official service system of electronic navigation charts SENC, to the BSM ships. In addition, Transas will provide training of the crew and service support.
