He said that they would introduce nine new models in future which would be manufactured and exported from their manufacturing plant at Oragadam located about 45 kms from here.
Meanwhile, Ennore Port Ltd Chairman and Managing Director S Velumani said that the Port was considered to be the 12th major port since 2001.
Stating that the Port was mainly targeted in exporting coal and iron ore, Velumani said that the signing of the MoU with NMIPL would give a major boost to the Port.
On the upcoming works, the Chairman said "there are 14 projects worth Rs 6,400 crore of investments which is expected to be implemented in two phases".
The company has till now used Rs 2,700 crore for infrastructure development of port purposes, while Rs 1,500 crore for other purposes, he said.
