NYK, Evergreen, Hanjin Shipping to launch WIN service between India and north Asia
Three major carriers, Japan’s NYK, Taiwan’s Evergreen and Korea’s Hanjin Shipping, have announced to launch from October 29 a new weekly service, to be known as WIN Service, between the west coast of India and north Asia, according to shipping industry sources, The Hindu Business Line reports.
The WIN service, which will have a 35-day rotation, will deploy five vessels of 3,000-TEU capacity each, with NYK providing three vessels and Evergreen and Hanjin one each.
The port rotation will be Busan- Shanghai-Ningbo-Shenzhen-Shekou- Singapore- JNPT-Pipavav-Colombo-Singapore-Hongkong-Busan, the sources add.
