Yang Ming to deploy new 6,600 teu containership

Taiwanese box line Yang Ming will deploy a new 6,600 teu containership into its Asia-US East Coast (AW-5) service on 16 October, Seatrade Asia online reports.The containership YM Milestone, built at Taiwan's state-owned CSBC yard in Kaohsiung, will join two other Yang Ming ships in the AW-5 service.
The ports of call are Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tan Cang Cai Mep Terminal, Singapore, Suez/El Suweis, New York, Norfolk and Boston.
Yang Ming has a further five 8,240 teu and five 4,500 teu containerships being built by CSBC.
