Maersk Line changed the port rotation of its MESA Service connecting the Middle East, he Indian Subcontinent and South Africa, the Journal of Commerce reported.
Under the revised schedule, a direct call at Salalah, Oman, was discontinued as of Oct. 1, the Danish carrier said in a trade advisory Thursday.
The new MESA rotation is: Durban, Port Elizabeth, Jebel Ali, Port Qasim, Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva) and back to Durban.
The first vessel sailing under the revised rotation was the Nexoe Maersk that departed Durban Oct. 1.
