VROON takes delivery, christens VOS Valiant
Vroon shipping company has announce the delivery and naming of VOS Valiant. The vessel was christened on Friday in a ceremony held at the Astilleros Zamakona Shipyard in Pasaia, Spain. Godmother was Mrs. Eva Maria Móreno, wife of Mr. Jesús Villacañas, General Manager, Astilleros Zamakona Shipyard, Pasaia.
VOS Valiant is a field-support vessel and the last in a series constructed for Vroon at the Astilleros Zamakona Shipyard. She is the latest addition to Vroon's fleet of modern vessels, providing a range of emergency response and cargo-support services to the offshore industry.
Following her departure from the Shipyard, the vessel will proceed to the United Kingdom for a short term charter with British Gas.
