Cosco Pacific Q3 container throughput up 10.2% to 13.35 mln TEU

Cosco Pacific achieved higher revenue for its third-quarter but net profit dipped as container throughput growth slowed down.

Net profit during the quarter dropped to $98.3m compared to $101.5m in the same period of 2010, Cosco Pacific announced on Wednesday.

The company posted stronger revenue at $160m compared to $107.5m a year earlier.

Overall throughput growth in the third-quarter handled by the company reached 13.35m teu, representing a 10.2% increase year-on-year.
