A launching ceremony of new 7,100 DWT tanker, named Mugan, took place yesterday at Besiktas Shipyard, Yalova. The tanker Mugan is the seventh out of ten tankers of Armada series of Project RST22M that Palmali Group ordered from Besiktas Shipyard, Today.az reports.
Besiktas Shipyard plans to perform the order by the end of 2013 and two tankers are already in service. The Project RST22M product tankers are successors of Project 005RST01, or “Armada” first series. The Armada serial ships were designed by Marine Engineering Bureau for Palmali Group.
